Do you think your pet is a star?
We are looking for the Rapid City Journal’s 2010 Pet Celebrity!
Snap an awesome photo of your pet and upload it on the “Submit an Entry” page. Get your family and friends to vote, look at other people’s pets and vote for your favorites. All entries will be available to view online and also will be published in the Rapid City Journal on April 23rd.
All photo entries for the competition must be received no later than 5:00 PM Wednesday April 14th, 2010 at the Rapid City Journal, Fish Here Pet Center or online at rapidcityjournal.com.
$600 in cash and prizes goes to 1st place
$300 in cash and prizes goes to 2nd place
$100 Fish Here Pet Center gift certificate goes to 3rd place
$50 Fish Here Pet Center gift certificates go to 4th – 12th place winners
All prizes will be awarded at the Pet Celebrity 2010 event which is hosted by the Rapid City Journal and Fish Here Pet Center at the Rushmore Mall on Saturday June 12th 2010.
Pet entries may be submitted online, via mail or dropped off at the Rapid City Journal or Fish Here Pet Center. Entries will be accepted from Saturday March 27th through Wednesday April 14th.
Pet Photo Entrance Fee: $10.00 to sponsor the Rapid City Journal’s Newspapers in Education program.
Votes: $0.25 per vote (minimum $5.00 online purchase). Voting begins Friday April 23rd.
To enter online: Submit a photo of your pet by clicking on the submission tab. Then complete the short registration process, upload your photo and submit the $10.00 entrance fee via credit or debit card. This fee helps to sponsor the Rapid City Journal newspapers in Education program.
To enter via mail: Submit a photo of your pet, along with your name, address and phone number and a $10.00 entrance fee to sponsor the Rapid City Journal’s Newspapers in Education program . Please make checks payable to “RCJ Newspapers in Education”.

Pet Celebrity 2010, brought to you by the Rapid City Journal and Fish Here Pet Center, supports the Rapid City Journal Newspapers in Education program. This program provides over 40,000 print and digital copies of the daily newspaper to area schools annually.
